Exceptional Hospitality and Tasty Scottish Delights

During our stay, the staff treated us like family, accommodating our every request with warmth. The food, especially the homemade burgers, was delightful. Cozy up by the fire with a coffee afterwards. it’s the perfect way to end the day. Highly recommend for great dining!

    worn room

Had a lovely time enjoying the cozy suite and a delicious dinner there! The lounge area was perfect for unwinding and catching the game with some locals. The room felt a bit worn, but it didn't dampen the overall charm. I’d recommend giving it a visit! 😊

    Great for a Weekend Escape

The breakfast was really good, full Scottish was spot on, and the staff made us feel super welcome, like family. the room was comfortable, we had plenty of natural light with those huge windows, just perfect for chilling after a day out.

It wasn’t exactly budget-friendly but it was still reasonable for what we got.

Scenic and welcoming atmosphere with great dining

I enjoyed my stay with friendly staff and a cozy setting. The local pub vibe added a nice touch, making it easy to mingle with visitors and locals alike. Dining was a highlight, particularly the locally sourced dishes that were delicious and beautifully presented. there were some issues with noisy rooms that could be improved for a better night's sleep.

    comfy bed
    clean sheets
    spacious layout
    moldy shower
    wall stains

The room was pretty basic with some cleanliness issues. There were stains on the wall and the shower had mold. The shower control knob even fell off, which was frustrating. But at least the bed was comfy, and I had a decent sleep. It just felt like the room needed a serious upgrade.

    A cozy, charming stay

We had a lovely time here! The decor was just gorgeous and made our room feel like a cozy retreat. The bed was super comfy, and the view when we opened the window was fresh and nice. We also enjoyed some yummy meals in the restaurant, but the parking could get crowded sometimes.

    Exceptional dining and lovely atmosphere

I had a delightful one-night stay, enjoying a superb six-course tasting menu that was an absolute highlight—each dish presented beautifully and bursting with flavor. The friendly local vibe enhanced the experience, making it feel like a warm community hub rather than just a hotel. the noise from the bar below made it difficult to relax fully in my room.

    tasty fish and chips
    six-course tasting
    exceptional flavors
    audible bar noise
    cold shower

The fish and chips here are an absolute revelation, perfectly battered and served hot—definitely the star of the show! Plus, the six-course tasting menu was a culinary adventure that absolutely nailed it, leaving us buzzing with flavors! A massive thumbs up for that tasty experience!

A bit of a ruckus from the bar below made it tough to catch some z's until midnight! And don’t get me started on the shower—colder than my ex's heart, no matter how long I let it run. Still, things sparkled overall, just not in the bathroom.
